The COLTON HOUSE TRIO consist of three remarkable national talents. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chris Brashear and National Flatpicking Guitar Champion Peter McLaughlin have performed and recorded together for over 20 years. Their preveious duet recordings, Canyoneers, (2003) and So Long Arizona, (2008) established them as leading performance artists and creative lyricists with a particular interest in the Southwest.

Grammy award-winning bassist and producer Todd Phillips is no stranger to the creative and collaborative process. He was a founding member of the original Dave Grisman Quintet. His entire musical life has been dedicated to musical projects that are on the cutting edge of acoustic music.

In 2016, through a music residency and grant awarded to the trio by the Museum of Northern Arizona, the COLTON HOUSE TRIO was born. The 2017 CD by the same name and produced by Todd Phillips was released in Spring of 2017.
